The regular wooden golf tee is used by millions of us every day. It is probably the least expensive thing we use when we play and yet it is FUNDAMENTAL to the way the ball leaves the clubface.
There are tees and then there are tees... If you simply compare the finish of the cup between a normal tee and the ArrowTee you will see a massive difference in smoothness and uniformity. This is the Tee-Ball interface. A rough cup leads to unwanted drag and can even impart unwanted spin (back/forward or side) onto your ball.
We took a normal tee and made it better. It has a very fine finish in the cup and we made the cup diameter and small as is practicable. This minimises the friction between ball and tee which leads to longer and straighter drives.
